• JASPER — A self-hosted LLM agent backend in Python. Multi-turn tool use against the Anthropic API, 13 tools across notes, tasks, reminders and long-term memory, running on FastAPI over SQLite. Next up is a test suite and a voice layer. Writeup here
• Fundamentals — Back in C and C++ on purpose, plus algorithms and systems design. The kind of practice that compounds rather than the kind that impresses
• Air Force Reserves — Working toward joining the Reserves as a next step alongside my civilian career
• Second Master's degree — Considering an MBA to complement the CS/ML background and open up broader leadership and strategy roles
• SortaLogic — Writing, building, and thinking in public. Picking this back up after a pause
• LoL Draft Helper — On pause. The core system is built — team composition profiling, gap analysis, and data-driven pick recommendations powered by 40,000+ matches from the Riot API. Writeups on the design here and here

What I'm thinking about

• What it means to deliberately architect the next phase of your life rather than taking what comes. Choosing the role, the location, the mission, instead of letting them be assigned
• The tension between specializing deeper in ML/AI and broadening into leadership and strategy. Both paths are real, and an MBA might be the bridge — but only if it serves the work, not the credential
• A philosophy I try to carry into everything I build, and into how I move through life: I want people's lives to be better after they've interacted with me or my work — not the other way around
